PHASES OF THE VIRUS IN A CONFIRMED COVID-19 PATIENT
- Outcome Level 0: Acute Phase: Admission to ICU/High Care
- Outcome Level 0-1: Acute Phase: ICU/High Care stay
- Outcome Level 1-2: Recovery Phase: Discharge from ICU, hospital stay
- Outcome Level 3: Survivor short-term Phase: Discharge from hospital, home stay/isolation
- Outcome Level 4: Survivor long-term Phase: Home stay post isolation
Physiotherapy is recommended for Outcome Level 3 and 4 for various complications that may have developed due to COVID-19.
