Lee Van Wyk

Lee van Wyk grew up in Cape Town, where he completed his BSc in Physiotherapy at Stellenbosch University with distinction. He then completed his community service year in Jozini, KwaZulu-Natal, gaining valuable experience managing a wide range of orthopaedic and neurological conditions in a rural outpatient setting.

He currently works in both inpatient and outpatient environments and is actively involved in sport as an on-field physiotherapist for high school rugby, as well as at a national level in baseball.

Lee’s passion for physiotherapy is rooted in his strong sporting background. Having represented baseball at both national and international junior levels, he has a deep understanding of the physical demands of sport and the importance of effective rehabilitation and performance optimization. In addition to baseball, he has a keen interest in rugby, soccer, cricket, combat sports, and running.

His approach to treatment is hands-on, combining evidence-based practice with a strong focus on patient-centred care. He is particularly passionate about injury prevention, rehabilitation, and helping individuals perform at their best.

Whether you are a casual walker, a recreational padel player, or a competitive athlete, Lee is committed to helping you return to the activities you enjoy—stronger, more confident, and pain-free.
