Francesca Esposito

Registered Dietitian (SA)

Francesca has a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics Degree from the University of Natal and has also completed her Masters in Nutrition through Stellenbosch University.

She is passionate about nutrition research and is dedicated to staying abreast of current developments and trends in nutrition. Francesca aims to empower the individuals she sees with the knowledge and skills they need to achieve their goals and optimise their health and well-being.

She is committed to supporting her clients while they navigate the challenging roads of lifestyle change and assists them in utilising a life-course approach to healthy eating to ensure that the changes they make are sustainable and that they are successful in the long-term.

Special interests:

Weight loss, insulin resistance, Type 2 diabetes, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, vegan/ plant-based diets, gastrointestinal disorders such as reflux, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and diverticular disease as well as assisting individuals with infertility, raised cholesterol levels, high blood pressure and compromised immune systems.

Although a large part of her job involves individual consultations in private practice, Francesca also writes for the media and enjoys running workshops and working on corporate projects.

Francesca is registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCASA) and is a member of the Association for Dietetics in South Africa.
